A teenage dream that reignited a deep passion for music. When Jehan Assria was 18, she had a dream of sitting in the back of a bus in disguise and overhearing someone saying “Did you see Jehan’s show? It was amazing”. Immediately Jehan signed up for vocal lessons with Gywn Sanborn and got connected with music producer Thomas Barsoe, who gave her the experience of writing and recording in a professional studio. Since then, Jehan has stayed dedicated to pursuing her dreams while persevering against rejection, depression, and hardships.

Jehan is not the typical songwriter who stays behind the scenes; she is a visionary who challenges the status quo by releasing her own music with a featured vocalist. Her singles are an experience for the listener similar to the songs released by producers/writers Calvin Harris, Clean Bandit, and many more. Jehan primarily focuses on the Pop genre, but is also well versed in R&B, Hip Hop, and Rock as well.

In her lyrics, Jehan creates unique metaphors to convey deep vulnerabilities that many people can relate to. Her songs inspire her audience to listen to their intuition and find their strength. Her first single ‘Peace of Mind’ (feat. Matt Isaac) gives awareness to people who suffer from anxiety and her second single ‘Dark Shadow’ (feat. Salvo) encourages her listeners to overcome their obstacles and conquer their inner demons that are holding them back. She inspires her fans to follow their dreams by sharing her journey of bringing a song to life in the ‘Peace of Mind’ music video.

Jehan has collaborated with many prestigious songwriters/producers including Wendy Starland (Honored by the Songwriters Hall of Fame and discovered and developed Lady Gaga.) She has two huge musical influences/mentors in her life. One of them is Adeniyi “Synematik” Adelekan (Music Producer for Sony ATV and who Produced Anthony Flammia “Pieces” for Universal Republic and Boyz II Men “Don’t Stop” on the 2014 “Collide” album). Synematik and Jehan have written several songs together. Lars Halvor Jensen (written with Jason Derulo, Lil Wayne, & Boyz II Men) also mentor’s Jehan involving her in songwriting sessions with other established writers/producers.
