Citizen Odin is a Danish band led by singer and composer John Odin. The debut album Coward 19 from 2020 was a bedroom project where everything was recorded at home during the corona lockdown. The lyrics revolve arouind all aspects of the covid 19 pandemic. The sound was somewhat primitive, and the album was never meant as a commercial recording.

However Coward 19 led to a deal with the young record company Lazarus Music Group. During autum/winter 2021, Citizen Odins first studio album, OK Boomer! was recorded at Rapzonen-studios. Citizen Odin went from being a solo project, to being a band, with changing crew. 

OK Boomer! is a 17 track concept album following the nameless and middleaged Mr. Boomer, and his rise and fall from grace after an encounter with a young sugardater. The album is also following the young girl, Ginny, who, for better or worse has grown up in the digital age. From life as a selfstaging influencer and sugardater, there is only one way – to total destruction. The album deals with the hottest topics of our time. #MeToo, the cancel culture, digital bullying and much more.

The single OK Boomer (Radio Edit) has gained a lot of succes worldwide. The single has reached no. 1 on radio charts in the USA, and it has made the charts in several other countries. 

March 2025 Citizen Odin released their third album, In Transition. The first single, Now We Are Dancing, is powerplaying on radionstations with more than 2000 radio plays per week.
