Simone Smith - Toy Soldiers (Official Music Video)
I chose to remake this song because I think the idea of teenagers struggling to express who they are, their individuality, has always been true. Even more so in this age of social media where it seems like everyone is living these picture-perfect lives, I just wanted to get the message out that you're cool being just who you are and the constant chase of that perfect selfie in the perfect spot can leave you empty. And I felt like the song, "Toy Soldiers", speaks to that today; that all the fakeness out there just falls down when you're true to yourself." Simone Smith
