There have been a number of new regulations regarding the flying of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the U.S. As of August, 2016, Part 107B Certification, with proper authorization from the FAA, is required before you are permitted to fly UAVs commercially.
At Dynamic Aero Drone Systems, Inc., we are fully licensed with FAA Part 107B certification and insured by Global Aerospace Insurance Company. This certification and insurance allows us to film great material in areas of the United States and its territories. Our senior pilot, John G. Cohan, has been a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) since 2000. All his aircraft are registered with the FAA as a certificate holder with a small UAS Certificate of Registration. Cohan's credentials also include being a licensed FAA UAS Remote Pilot and FEMA ICS-100 certified, who is insured by Global Aerospace. Cohan has many years of technical development in the world of multi-media and museum work. Dynamic Aero Drone Systems, Inc. is another way to utilize his 30 years of skills and experience.
